How to Set Up a Google Ads Account and Send Us Access

Setting up your own Google Ads account puts you in full control, and that's exactly how it should be. You'll be the primary owner, and we’ll just be added as a manager to help build and run your campaigns.

This guide walks you through setting it up and sharing your account ID with us so we can send over the right access request.

Why You Should Set It Up Yourself

Creating your own Google Ads account means:

  • You stay in control of your billing and ownership
  • Your payment info stays private; only you can see it
  • We get the access we need to run your ads without taking over the account
  • No headaches down the road if you ever need to switch teams or log in directly

This is the cleanest, safest way to do it and keeps you in the driver's seat.

Step 1: Create Your Google Ads Account

If you already have a Google account (like Gmail), you're ready to go. If not, start by creating one at accounts.google.com.

Once that’s done:

  • Go to ads.google.com
  • Click Start now
  • Follow the prompts to set up your Google Ads account
  • Choose your time zone, business info, etc.
    • If it tries to walk you through campaign setup, look for a Skip or Expert Mode option to bypass it. We'll handle all that later.

Step 2: Send Us Your Account ID

  • Once you're logged into your Google Ads account, look in the top right corner of the screen. You'll see your Account ID — it's a 10-digit number, usually displayed right next to your profile icon.
  • Copy that number and email it to us
  • As soon as we have your account ID:
    1. We'll send a request to be added as a Manager on your account
    2. You'll get an email from Google asking you to accept
    3. After you approve, we're in — and we'll handle everything from there

Final Tips

  • Be sure to save your login details somewhere secure
  • You'll always have full access to your account and billing
  • We'll never make billing changes or adjustments without your approval

That's it! Once you're set up and connected, we'll get to work.
